Expanding from previous projects involving Remote Monitoring and SCADA systems, we used our partnership with Siemens and ROM Communications (ROM), to developed a unique and cost effective control model incorporating industrial controls with Satellite or Cellular Telemetry. By incorporating a Siemens PLC and Operator Interface and integrating a Stellar modem with a Hegwood designed control system, our customer can now have complete control and monitoring capability of their equipment virtually anywhere in the world. This unique model requires no proprietary monitoring software (just Internet access) and the monitoring cost could be less than a telephone line by itself.
